The slate comes from the Zamora Region of Spain and was formed during the Ordovician period.

Direct Slating Supplies have chosen to promote this slate over all others because of the ease of fitting.

The slate holds all agreement certificates, but it is the ease of fitting that will be most cost effective to slaters and architects. The slate is very straight and all slates are of the same thickness, so minimal grading is needed.
